Silver Stars are stars that appeared in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams and Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion. In some missions of both games, the player might be required to collect all five Silver Stars from a level to make a Power Star appear.

Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams[]
Silver Stars first appeared in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams where they are a feature for making Power Stars appear. Some levels are based on Silver Star missions, so the player will have to collect them all to complete the level. When obtained, the Silver Stars will float around Luigi. When they are collected, they make the same twinkling sound as the Silver Stars from Super Mario Galaxy make, but without the sound that a Luma would make.
Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion[]
Silver Stars reappear in Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion with the same purpose like they did in the prequel.
