Octoguys are red and chubby Octogoombas that appear in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams and Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion. This may not be easy to see, but they have light pink spots on them. They are much like original Octogoomba, as they well deal damage to Luigi when he physically touches them. However, they are able to shoot rocks and when they detect Luigi, they will begin to run away. Luckily for the player, they will eventually become tired and they will stop running for a few seconds to catch their breath. Alternatively, Luigi can shoot a Ghost Comb at them while they are running so that they will get stunned and Luigi will finally have a chance to defeat them.

Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams[]
In the Luigi's Mansion series, Octoguys first appear in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams as semi-common enemies. They are usually found in groups. Octoguys are found in the Honeybee Mansion, the Filling Fall Mansion, and the Dark Doom Mansion.
Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion[]
Octoguys reappear in Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion. They are only found in the Bowling Boulder Mansion and the Honeylife Mansion.
Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!![]
Octoguys reappear in Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!, with the same attacks and design as before.
