The Cloud Flower is a Power-Up that first appeared in Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion. Its model is that of a flower, with the oval as its head replaced with a cloud. Luigi will become Cloud Luigi when he grabs one and he will have the ability to create up to three clouds that can be used as platforms for him to reach high places. When used, Luigi's jumping abilities have been improved, as he can jump higher and his long jumps jump to a longer distance horizontally. Obviously, the Cloud Flower also gives Luigi the ability to stand on clouds, as he cannot stand on clouds in his normal form. To revert back to regular Luigi, one must touch water or take damage.
The Cloud Flower appears in three mansions of the game: the Cloud Center Mansion, the Super Soft Mansion, and the Legendary Mansion. In the Cloud Center Mansion, it is used to traverse obstacles via wind coming from the mills. In the Super Soft Mansion, it is also used to bypass hazards, but without the use of windmills. Instead, Cloud Luigi can use the Cloud Flower to reach high places. In the Legendary Mansion, it is found at the area with the burning fence. It is the only Power-Up that can be used in the Legendary Mansion. In the Daredevil Spirit mission, Luigi will have to make it through the whole level as Cloud Luigi, as there is no water available in the mansion, and if Luigi takes damage, he will not only lose the Cloud Flower, but he will also lose a life and must replay the whole level.
The Cloud Flower returns in Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!, in the Windy Cloud Mansion and the Blowy Breeze Mansion. In those levels, the Cloud Flower has the same purpose as it did in the prequel.
