Buzzy Beetles are enemies that appear in Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!. They also appear in the whole series, where they first appeared in Super Mario Bros. (1985). Like Koopa Troopas, Buzzy Beetles will hide in their shells when jumped on, giving Luigi the chance to grab their shells. Buzzy Beetles' shells are strong enough for them to resist fireballs. In other words, they cannot be defeated with fireballs. Buzzy Beetles are most considered to be the opposite for Spinies; enemies who are invincible to jumps, but can be defeated with fireballs.
Buzzy Beetles appear in four mansions; the Bland Sand Mansion, along with Spike Tops and Paraspinies, the Frostburn Mansion, in the hot part, the Liquid Lancer Mansion, and the Coil Court Mansion, where one is found in a circular area. In all those mansions, their shells can be used to break open treasure chests.
