Banzai Bills are large types of Bullet Bills that appear in the Luigi's Mansion series, where they first appeared in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams and the whole Mario series, where they first appeared in Super Mario World. Unlike in side-scrolling Mario games, in the Luigi's Mansion games, Banzai Bills cannot be jumped on.

Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams[]
Banzai Bills appear in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams as obstacles that only appear in Bowser's Mansion Reactor. Like Bullet Bills, they do not home in on Luigi, however, instead of getting launched at the spot Luigi is standing on, Banzai Bills go in a straight direction. Due to their size, Banzai Bills can be difficult to avoid. Luigi can easily avoid Banzai Bills by waiting for one to come and then getting out of the Banzai Bill's range. Banzai Bills are invincible in this game and cannot be defeated.
Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion[]
Banzai Bills reappear in Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion. In this game, they have the same behavior as they did in Haunted Dreams. Banzai Bills can now be defeated with the use of a Shiny Star. When they are defeated, they will produce an amount of Ghost Combs. A variety of Banzai Bills known as Missile Banzai Bills appear. They act like Missile Bills, only they don't turn around when they miss Luigi. Banzai Bills are a lot more common in this game.
Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!![]
Banzai Bills make their third appearance in Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!. Missile Banzai Bills also reappear in this game. Like in Curse of the Mansion, Banzai Bills can be defeated with a Shiny Star. Banzai Bills have the same features in this game.
