Block by simply hitting it from below by jumping. AppearancesEdit

Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted DreamsEdit

In the Luigi's Mansion series, ? Blocks first appear in Luigi's Mansion 4: Haunted Dreams, where they contained coins and Ghost Combs. ? Blocks often disappear after being hit once, but they can also disappear after being hit multiple times. Additionally, a ? Block containing Ghost Combs might have them released one at a time. If Luigi hits that kind of ? Block ten times in a row without stopping, he will receive a multitude of Ghost Combs.

Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the MansionEdit

? Blocks reappear in Luigi's Mansion 5: Curse of the Mansion, with the same items contained inside them: Coins and Ghost Combs. Also, Coin Blocks are a lot more common in this game. ? Blocks that produce Ghost Combs one at a time no longer appear, but they can still produce a bunch of Ghost Combs in one hit. Flying ? Blocks also appear. Like regular ? Blocks, they disappear when they are hit. All Flying ? Blocks produce Ghost Combs.

Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!Edit

? Blocks reappear in Luigi's Mansion 6: U Are Doomed!!, having the same items contained inside them. ? Blocks that produce Ghost Combs that are earned one at a time reappear. ? Blocks once again contain coins and Ghost Combs. Flying ? Blocks reappear, although they are now rare, only appearing in the Coil Court Mansion, where they are accessible using the Coil Mushroom.

Luigi's Mansion 7Edit

? Blocks were said to reappear in Luigi's Mansion 7. Flying ? Blocks will also reappear. ? Blocks once again contain coins, but they no longer contain Ghost Combs, as they will not appear. ? Blocks can now contain power-ups, just like in the 2D Mario games.
